Title Summary
Giving the Gift of Vision to Children To mark World Sight Day on October 11, 2012, ACP launched its first online campaign to raise funds for children’s eye care at St. John’s Eye Hospital.
The Four Homes of Mercy (FHOM) In 2011, ACP facilitated a $10,000 donation to The Four Homes of Mercy, which provides permanent residency and 24-hour clinical care to 78 neurologically disabled Palestinian men, women and children.
Mediterranean Youth Technology Club (MYTecC) In 2010, ACP facilitated a $50,000 from Craig Newmark to support MYTecC, an innovative new program that builds leadership capacity and cross-cultural skills among Palestinian youth through technology and social media.
Supporting Essential Eye Care in Palestine In 2011, ACP facilitated a $27,000 donation to support St. John’s Eye Hospital’s cataract surgery program. This donation funded over 100 sight-saving surgeries for Palestinians who were blinded by cataract and otherwise could not afford treatment.
Beit Ur Al-Tahta Development ACP, CHF International, the Sheikh Mohammed Shami Foundation and USAID partner to fund a $400,000 development project in the West Bank village of Beit Ur Al-Tahta.
Spafford Children Center Spafford Children's Center of Jerusalem ACP donated $5000 to the Spafford Children’s Center of Jerusalem, which provides medical, psycho-social and educational services to vulnerable children in East Jerusalem and the West Bank.
Ziad Asali One Laptop Per Child One Laptop Per Child ACP facilitates the distribution of 1,000 laptop computers donated by One Laptop Per Child Inc., to be delivered by the USAID to Palestinian students in the Occupied West Bank.
