Spafford Children's Center of Jerusalem

Project Overview

In 2009, American Charities for Palestine (ACP) presented the Spafford Children's Center of Jerusalem with a $5000 donation. In a letter of peace and goodwill, Dr. Jantien Dajani, the Medical Director of the SCC acknowledged her gratitude for ACP’s donation and expressed her hope that ACP donors will visit the center in the Old City.

Originally founded as the “American Colony of Jerusalem” by Bertha Spafford Vester, SCC provides medical, psycho-social and special education services to disadvantaged and vulnerable children in East Jerusalem and the West Bank. SCC provides services regardless of its beneficiaries' race, gender, religion or cultural background.
